EMT Refresher Training Now Available at the Conference!
The National Conference on EMS is excited to offer the EMT Refresher courses on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 during the National Conference on EMS in Atlantic City, NJ. The refresher courses are offered in partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health – Jersey Shore University Medical Center, in a hybrid format. Students are required to complete the online component of the offered courses, prior to arrival of the scheduled in-person scheduled session.
Active Shooter Incident Management (ASIM)
We are also pleased to offer "Active Shooter Incident Management (ASIM)" as part of the Refesher Day. The "New Jersey Standardized Active Violent Event Response (SAVER) Initiative" is designed to provide standardized training and response procedures for all first responders, including law enforcement, fire services, and EMS, in the event of an active shooter or other violent event, ensuring coordinated and effective response across different agencies within the state.
